The Omics Data Science Initiative, at Simon Fraser University in the Metro Vancouver region, is offering multiple postdoctoral positions, available immediately.
ODSI comprises a well funded research cluster, with active interdisciplinary research programs and postdocs in data science for molecular level data with focus areas of infectious diseases, precision oncology and heart-lung research.
The current positions focus on Infectious Disease Bioinformatics, Algorithms for Precision Oncology, and Epigenomics of Developmental Trajectories. Multiple further position are likely to be added. Qualified applicants will have a Ph.D. in a relevant biological/bioinformatics/computing sciences discipline, plus demonstrated experience in relevant research. They will have the opportunity to work with an exceptional, team-based group of interdisciplinary researchers located at SFU, and partner organizations across Canada and internationally.
