Job Description
Postdoctoral Positions available in Dr. Jennifer Zhang’s laboratory of the Department of Dermatology, Duke University Medical Center. We are seeking recent PhD, MD/PhD or equivalent graduates interested in epithelial biology, skin cancer, and inflammatory skin disorders. Specifically, our lab is focused on understanding how dysregulation of cell signaling and gene regulators contributes to skin defects, cancer, and inflammatory skin diseases. We use regenerated human skin and genetic animal models to explore disease mechanisms and response to treatments.
Preferred applicants (PhD, MD or MD/PhD) should have a strong interest in basic skin biology, carcinogenesis, and inflammatory disorders, enjoy teamwork, and have proficient communication and writing skills. Experience in molecular biology, immunology, bioinformatics, and/or animal studies is highly desired.
