Postdocs will investigate how immune remodeling and metabolism interact with cardiac function and electrophysiology in response to risk factor stressors. The Lee Lab, CVB, and OMRF offer state-of-the-art resources, including advanced equipment for cardiac physiology, mitochondrial and metabolic studies, flow cytometry, spatial and bulk transcriptomics, and bioinformatics analysis through the Center for Biomedical Data Sciences. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Lead independent research projects focused on immunometabolism in cardiometabolic diseases.

Investigate interactions between immune remodeling, metabolism, cardiac function, and electrophysiology in response to risk factor stressors.

Conduct experiments using advanced technologies, including:

Cardiac physiology and electrophysiology assays

Mitochondrial and metabolic analyses

Flow cytometry

Spatial and bulk transcriptomics

Bioinformatics through the Center for Biomedical Data Sciences

Analyze data, interpret results, and contribute to scientific discussions.

Write and publish high-quality research articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Prepare fellowship grant applications with mentorship and support from the Lee Lab.
