一、学院概况

北京大学深圳研究生院(简称北大深研院)成立于2001年,由北京大学和深圳市人民政府共同创办,经过二十四年发展,依托北大、立足深圳,逐步成为扎根深圳的北京大学研究型国际化校区,北京大学创建世界一流大学战略的重要组成部分。

北大深研院立足北京大学的品牌优势和学科实力,结合深圳的区位优势,以“前沿领域、交叉学科、应用学术、国际标准”为办学方针,以服务深圳及国家战略需求为目标导向,布局和抢占科学发展制高点,努力营造良好、宽松、自由、稳定的学科发展氛围,培育促进重大成果产生的土壤,鼓励原始创新的不断涌现。形成以学院为支撑、以重点实验室和重大创新工程等重大平台为依托,深耕人才培养与科技创新。

目前,北大深研院现有在校研究生3700余人;涵盖7个学科门类,16个一级学科,设有8个学院。

人文社科学院是北大深研院八个下属学院之一,是北京大学在深圳的一个多学科平台,为人文社科类各专业在南方进行科研、教学、跨学科交流合作等提供支持和服务。在目前新一轮学科建设中,人文社科学院将建成涵盖全日制办学、思政课教学、通识教育、特色培训和人文实验室等多方面的交叉型文科教学科研平台。目前人文社科学院承担深研院全日制研究生公共英语、对外汉语等语言类课程教学任务。现公开招聘英语教师2名。

二、招聘岗位和要求

(一)英语教师

1、招聘人数:1人

2、岗位职责:主要承担研究生英语教学和留学生对外汉语教学任务;参与学院的建设工作,承担部分行政和学生管理工作等。

3、岗位要求:

【教学副教授】

(1)具有良好的思想政治素质和道德品质、学术道德和职业精神。

(2)国内外知名大学英语语言文学、翻译学或相关专业毕业,具有应用语言学背景者优先。

(3)具有博士学位,具有副教授职称。

(4)具有坚实的理论基础和系统的专业知识与技能,有丰富教学经验者优先。

(5)有国内外代表性科研成果发表,学术水平优秀,有显著的发展潜力。

(6)有热情和能力承担教学科研工作。

【讲师】

(1)具有良好的思想政治素质和道德品质、学术道德和职业精神。

(2)国内外知名大学英语语言文学、翻译学或相关专业毕业,具有应用语言学背景者优先。

(3)原则上需具有博士学位;具有硕士学位的需具有3年以上中国高校任教经验。

(4)具有坚实的理论基础和系统的专业知识与技能,有丰富教学经验者优先。

(5)有国内外代表性科研成果发表,学术水平优秀,有显著的发展潜力。

(6)有热情和能力承担教学科研工作。

(二)外籍英语教师(讲师)

1、招聘人数:1人

2、岗位职责:主要承担研究生英语教学,和语言中心(language center)相关工作;参与学院的一些行政工作。

3、岗位要求:

(1) 遵守中华人民共和国法律法规,符合来华工作许可要求;愿意遵守学校的各项规章制度,具有良好的道德品质、学术道德和职业精神。

(2) 母语为英语。具备纯正的英语发音和流利的表达能力。

(3) 专业为英语教育、语言学、文学、教育学或相关领域。

(4) 原则上需具有博士学位;具有硕士学位的需具有3年以上在中国从事语言教学工作的经验。深入了解英语国家文化、历史、社会习俗等,具备出色的听说读写能力,能够承担研究生综合英语、英语口语、英语听力、英语写作、英语阅读等课程教学。

(5) 持有国际认可的英语教学资格证书,如TESOL、TEFL、CELTA等。

(6) 有热情和能力承担教学科研工作。

Recruitment Notice for English Teachers (including foreign teachers) at Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School.

I. Comprehensive introduction of the College

Established in 2001 through a joint initiative by Peking University and the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government,Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School  ( PKUSZ), has grown over 24 years into a distinguished international research campus. It serves as a key element in Peking University's strategy to achieve global academic excellence, with its operations deeply rooted in Shenzhen.

Leveraging Peking University's esteemed reputation and academic strengths, combined with Shenzhen location strength in Shenzhen, the university emphasizes frontier research, interdisciplinary collaboration, applied scholarship, and international standards as the guiding principle. Aligned with the strategic needs of Shenzhen and the nation, it aims to secure leading positions in scientific development, foster a conducive academic environment, and cultivate an atmosphere for groundbreaking innovations and original discoveries.

The university currently boasts a graduate student population exceeding 3,700, encompassing 7 major academic fields, 16 primary disciplines, and 8 distinct colleges.

The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, as an integral component of Peking University Shenzhen Graduate School, serves as a distinguished multidisciplinary platform in Shenzhen. It is committed to advancing scientific research, academic instruction, and interdisciplinary collaboration across various disciplines within the humanities and social sciences, thereby significantly contributing to scholarly endeavors. In alignment with its strategic academic initiatives, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences is advancing the development of a robust interdisciplinary platform for teaching and research. This platform will encompass full-time education, ideological and political instruction, general education, specialized training programs, and humanities laboratories. Currently, the school is tasked with delivering academic instruction to full-time graduate students at PKUSZ, providing language courses such as public English and Chinese for international students.Now there are two English lecture positions are available.

Ⅱ. Positions and requirements.

(Ⅰ) English teacher

1. Number of recruitment : 1.

2.Responsibilities: Mainly responsible for teaching English to graduate students and Chinese as a foreign language to international students. participate in the development of the school and certain administrative duties as needed.

3. Requirements:

【Associate Professor of teaching】

(1) Demonstrates strong ideological and moral qualities, along with integrity and professional ethics.

(2) Graduated from a renowned domestic or international university major in English Language and Literature, Translation Studies, or related field. candidates with a background in Applied Linguistics are desirable.

(3) doctorate degree and the title of Associate Professor.

(4) Possesses a solid theoretical foundation and systematic professional knowledge and skills, with a preference for candidates with extensive teaching experience.

(5) Published representative academic achievements both domestically and internationally.academic excellence with significant development potential

(6) Have the enthusiasm and capability to undertake teaching and research responsibilities.

【Lecturer】

(1) Demonstrates strong ideological and moral qualities, along with integrity and professional ethics.

(2) Graduated from a renowned domestic or international university major in English Language and Literature, Translation Studies, or a related field. Candidates

with a background in Applied Linguistics are desirable.

(3) In principle, a doctorate degree is required; applicants with master degree must have accrued a minimum of three years English teaching experience at university level.

(4) Possesses a solid theoretical foundation and systematic professional knowledge and skills, with a preference for candidates with extensive teaching experience

(5) Published representative academic achievements both domestically and internationally,academic excellence with significant development potential

(6) have the enthusiasm and capability to undertake teaching and research responsibilities.

(Ⅱ) Foreign English teachers (lecturers).

1. Number of recruitment : 1

2. Responsibilities: primary focus on postgraduate English teaching and Language Center-related work; engage in some administrative work.

3. requirements:

(1) Comply with the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and meet the requirements for work permits in China; be willing to abide by all the rules and regulations of the school or university, and have good moral character, academic ethics and professionalism.

(2) Native English speaker with pure English pronunciation and fluent expression.

(3)Major in English education, linguistics, literature, pedagogy or related fields.

(4) In principle, a doctorate degree is required; candidates with a master degree are required to have more than 3 years of experience in language teaching in China. Have a deep understanding of the cultures, histories, social customs, etc. of English- speaking countries, possess excellent listening, speaking, reading and writing abilities, and enable to undertake the teaching of courses such as comprehensive English for postgraduates, spoken English, English listening, English writing and English reading. (5) certificates of TESOL, TEFL, CELTA and the recognized English teaching certificate is needed

(6) Have the enthusiasm and ability to undertake teaching and scientific research work.
