Postdoctoral fellow - Electron microscopy in cancer research : Oslo, Norway
A postdoctoral position is available at Department of Molecular Cell Biology, Institute for Cancer Research, Oslo University Hospital in the group of Dr. Harald Stenmark. The position will be part of a project funded by the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority called "Endosomal control of metastasis". It is a 3 year position, starting from December 1st 2018 or sooner.

Job description
• Development of new methods in electron microscopy, electron tomography, correlative light and electron microscopy, STEM, high-pressure freezing of specimens, and computer modelling.
• Active collaboration on other projects that require electron microscopy
Qualifications
• PhD degree in cell biology or molecular biology
• Extensive experience with electron microscopy
• Extensive experience with preparation of samples for electron microscopy
• Excellent communication skills in English
