Job Description
A postdoc position is available immediately at Department of Chemical Eingeering in Universisty of Alabama. The project is focused on the numerical simulation of electrochemical growth of metals in confirmed geometry. Competitive salary and benefits are offered. This job offers a good opportunity to collaborate with industry as well. This position is for 1 year but renewable afterwards.
The candidate should: 1. have a PhD degree in a STEM field, such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, material engineering, or a related field; 2. have a strong background in numerical simulation with Matlab, Fortran, COMSOL, Abaqus, or other similar softwares; 3. preferably have experience in fluidics, or fluid mechanics; 4. be self-motivated and have good verbal and writing communication skills; 5. be available asap.
