Postdoc in Immunology of Inflammatory Bowel Disease at UCSD

We seek a motivated and dynamic individual to join a collaborative project run jointly by the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center of the University of California San Diego (UCSD). The project aims at further understanding the role of lymphocyte traffic on the pathogenesis of IBD in chronic mouse models and patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
The chosen candidate will be a member of an integrated research group composed of academic, industry scientists and physicians that span the entire range of drug development from the bench to preclinical models and to the clinics. Investigators will benefit from ample core resources at UCSD, The San Diego VA and The La Jolla Institute of Allergy and Immunology.
The position offers a competitive salary commensurate to experience.
Candidates should have a PhD in life sciences or (MD with rigorous bench training), should be self-motivated and able to address complex problems independently. Experience in mucosal immunology and leukocyte/T/B cell biology is highly desirable.
