Job Description
Position Description Develop and utilize single nanoparticle tracking methods, optical imaging velocimetry and super resolution optical microscopy with the goal of targeting applications to microfluidic analysis and fundamental measurements. Develop and utilize single nanoparticle tracking methods, optical imaging velocimetry and super resolution optical microscopy with the goal of targeting applications to microfluidic analysis and fundamental measurements. Publishes results in refereed journals and makes oral presentations at meetings conferences, symposia, and seminars. Maintains cognizance of available techniques and expertise in related research groups through interactions and collaborative efforts. Reports on experiment progress, technique development, and new initiatives to peer reviewers and to program managers.
Position Requirements
A strong experimental background in optical characterization of single nanoparticle and/complex fluids. Excellent experience and capability in laser/optical instrumentation. Additional expertise in programming for data analysis, nanofabrication, and instrumentation is beneficial. Excellent written and oral communications, and data analysis skills. Strong skills in collaboration and ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
