Posting SummaryDepartment of Pharmaceutics (Dr. Leonid Kagan Laboratory) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the area of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. The successful applicant will join a well-established, diverse and collaborative research team, and have access to the resources of a major research university. She/he will be responsible for conducting preclinical experimentation with various pharmaceutical agents, will develop procedures and perform bioanalysis of small and large molecule drugs, and will develop translational pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic models based on preclinical and clinical data (including PBPK). The laboratory is active in the areas of cancer, pain and analgesics, CNS delivery, subcutaneous delivery, anti-infective agents.

Minimum Education and ExperienceRequires a PhD in relevant area, such as pharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics. Pharmacy, medicine or veterinary background is an advantage. Candidates must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, a publication record consistent with the position. Strong background in pharmacokinetics and modeling is required. Experience with HPLC, MS/MS, ELISA, and pharmacokinetic packages, such as NONMEM, Winnonlin, Symcyp, Gastroplus is an advantage.
