Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Postdoctoral Scholar will work in the Environmental Genomics and Systems Biology Division (EGSB) to join the Secure Biosystems Design Project, funded by the DOE, Biological and Environmental Research (BER) Program. This program seeks to expand the utility of chassis- independent recombinase assisted genome engineering (CRAGE: https: // www. nature.com/articles/s41564-019-0573-8 ) and CRAGE-Duet (https: // pubs.acs.org/doi/abs/10.1021/acssynbio.0c00280 ) as well as to develop robust kill switches and a biocontainment strategy for rhizobacteria within the plant rhizosphere.
