Postdoctoral Fellowship Position 100 %
The research focus of the Radiopharmacy Lab (http://www.nukmed.insel.ch/de/lehre-und-forschung/forschung-
research/radiopharmacy-lab/) is the design, development and preclinical evaluation of nuclear
probes for tumor in vivo imaging and therapy.
The challenge :
Candidates with a strong radiopharmaceutical background and the desire to participate in applied/
translational research are invited to apply. The successful candidate will develop and evaluate in
vitro and in vivo novel PET/SPECT radiotracers based on radiolabelled small molecules or peptides/
proteins.
Your profile :
– PhD in Radiopharmaceutical Sciences or related fields.
– Research experience with diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclides, analytical techniques, biological assays, cell culture.
– Experience with preclinical in vivo evaluation (biodistribution, imaging studies) and animal handling would be advantageous.
– Independent, organized, motivated to learn and lead the research project to completion.
– Good communication skills in English.
The package :
The position is available for 1-3 years based on an evaluation after the first year. – The candidate is expected to publish and present research findings at international conferences, prepare manuscripts and contribute in grant writing. The salary will be according to the standard of the University of Bern.
