Postdoctoral fellow Laboratory Cell Signaling
The Laboratory of Cell Signaling, member of the Research Center on Obesity and Comorbidities (OCRC) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp), São Paulo, Brazil, offers a postdoctoral fellowship position in the following areas: “Adult Hypothalamic neurogenesis involvement in the control of food intake”
Candidates must have completed their PhD until january 2021; experience in morphological analysis by light and confocal microscopy; extensive knowledge of cell and molecular biology techniques (emphasis on cell culture of neuronal precursor cells of the adult brain of mice), viability and cell cycle analyzes (biochemical and immunodetection by flow cytometry), molecular biology (qRT-PCR, transfection-siRNA, microarray); previous experience with the use of transgenic mouse models (Cre-LoxP system) in research; wide knowledge in stereotaxic surgery of mouse models and microdissection of small structures of the brain. Also, will be expected capacity to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
