The Department of Chemical and Metallurgical Engineering at the School of Chemical Engineering is looking for
Doctoral Candidates or Postdoctoral candidates in the area of Industrial processes in chemical engineering
We are looking for a highly motivated PhD candidate or post-doc to carry out research in the Plant design research group(Prof. Pekka Oinas) under the topic of Development and assessment of sustainable production processes. Our laboratory is situated on the main campus of Aalto University in Otaniemi.
We offer a multidisciplinary research environment and staff and well-equipped laboratory. The group's research interests include: process design and synthesis for bio-based processes, cost engineering, scale-up of processes, process simulation and environmental and safety aspects of process design. Your experience and ambitions
As a successful applicant you should be highly motivated in process research, development and designand have a solid background in chemical and process engineering. Industrial experience is highly appreciated.
Salary and contract terms
The salary is based on Aalto University's salary system. The contract includes occupational health care benefits and Finland has a comprehensive social security system.
