Job Description
Postdoctoral fellows and technicians are available immediately for motivated individuals to study brain inflammation in epileptogenesis. Projects involve using cultured microglia and gene knockout mice as model systems to investigate the epileptogenic effect of innate immune response. This position is supported by NIH grant. Annual salary for postdoctoral fellow, $53,000-$60,000, will be determined based on qualifications. Albany Medical College (AMC) is one of the nation’s oldest private medical schools in USA, located in the capital city of New York with easy access to Boston, New York, and Montreal and close to a number of research institutions including: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), State University of New York at Albany, and Wadsworth center New York state department of health.
