Job Description
The position for a highly motivated postdoc is available in Dr. Yanxin Pei’s laboratory at the Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. The Pei laboratory research focuses on studying the molecular mechanisms underlying tumor development and therapy resistance in pediatric brain tumors and identifying novel therapeutic approaches to treating the disease.
Candidates must hold a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, immunology, tumor development, or a relevant field. The ideal candidate should also have strong interests in mechanistic and preclinical studies. The holder of this position will be expected to carry out experiments using the following techniques: molecular biology, immunohistochemistry, Western blot, tissue culture, embryo dissection, PCR, qPCR, cell transplantation, drug delivery and others.
