Description
Singapore University of Technology and Design invites applications for multiple research fellow positions for a project on AI, speech synthesis, accent, and emotion at the Speech & Intelligent Systems (SIS) Lab. The candidates should hold a Ph.D. degree in computer science, electrical & computer engineering, or related area and show strong evidence of project experience and publication record. Skills and experiences are highly desirable.
Technical areas include (not limited to):
Machine Learning
Speech Synthesis (Text-to-speech synthesis and voice conversion)
Speech Recognition
Prosody and accent
Responsibilities include:
Formulate and drive novel research ideas
Design and implement state-of-the-art models
Document the finding in top-tier conferences and journals
Document the findings in professional meetings and project-related reports
Interact with team members and students
The Principal Investigator is Dr. Berrak Sisman. We expect successful candidates to begin their appointments in the first half of 2022.
