Position Summary
A Biochemistry research group with a long-standing interests in mechanisms underlying DNA replication, repair and mutagenesis seeks a candidate with demonstrated experience working in the general area of nucleic acid metabolism (DNA and/or RNA). The available position is focused on defining the role that protein-protein interactions play in regulating the coordinate actions of the replicative and various DNA damage tolerant DNA polymerases.
Responsibilities Include:
Independently manage a research project that is focused on protein-protein interactions.
Work collaboratively with graduate and undergraduate students.
Design experiments and manage research

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in biochemistry or a closely related discipline
Experience in protein purification
Experience analyzing protein-protein and protein-nucleic acid interactions
Experience in protein biochemistry/enzymology
Experience with surface plasmon resonance
Experience with isothermal titration calorimetry
Preferred Qualifications Physical Demands Salary Range $40,000 - $50,000 Work Hours
Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
