NIH-funded Postdoctoral Positions are available immediately to study craniofacial and skeletal development, disease, and regeneration. The successful applicants will join the Craniofacial & Dental Research Center to study developmental and stem cell biology, regenerative medicine, congenital birth defects, and aging-related disorders. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in developmental genetics, molecular and cell biology, microRNA, posttranslational modification, ciliogenesis, and biomedical engineering. Research experience in craniofacial and skeletal biology is a plus but not required for these positions.
The research studies focus on the elucidation of molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying stem cell self-renewal, cell fate determination and differentiation, crosstalk of signaling pathways, craniofacial development and disease, tissue repair and regeneration, and stem cell-based and gene-editing therapies.
