Description
The Solar Thermal Laboratory in the Clean Combustion Research Center (CCRC) is seeking talented postdoctoral researchers in the general area of solar thermal energy. The candidate will be involved in projects related to the production of solar fuels, concentrated solar power and thermal storage and hybridization applied to industrial processes. The successful candidate will report to Professor Bassam Dally.
Areas of interest include:
Solar thermochemistry, thermo-catalysis and Solar fuels
Concentrated solar power
Direct use of concentrated solar thermal in industrial processes
Thermal storage and hybrids with combustion
Qualifications
The candidate should have:
PhD degree directly related to the above research fields
Proven research experience in one or more of the above fields
Experience in conducting solar related experiments
Knowledge and exposure to computational techniques is desirable
