Postdoctoral Scientist
University of Wisconsin-Madison - Cell Signaling and Cancer
We are seeking a talented and motivated postdoctoral scientist to join the 3rd Messenger Laboratory of Drs. Richard Anderson and Vincent Cryns at the University of Wisconsin-Madison to focus on cell signaling and cancer. The successful applicant will take a lead role in projects focusing on phosphoinositide regulation of proteins such as p53 (“3rd messenger signaling”) and a novel nuclear PI3K-Akt pathway we recently discovered. We use a vast array of approaches to investigate fundamental biological processes and their translational implications for cancer. Prior experience with mouse models of cancer (xenograft and/or syngeneic) and cell/molecular biology is required. This position is fully funded by the NIH, DOD and other agencies.
