Applications are invited for a fixed-term Postdoctoral Research Scientist position in the Lymphocyte Development Group headed by Professors Matthias Merkenschlager and Amanda Fisher at the MRC London Institute of Medical Sciences (LMS). The team study epigenetics and cell commitment using a range of in vitro and in vivo approaches (https://lms.mrc.ac.uk/research-group/lymphocyte-development/).

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and creative scientist to drive an innovative research project on role of cohesin in gene regulation. You will join an established group of colleagues with access to core facility support and a network of experimental and computational collaborations. You should have a strong background in cell and molecular biology, and ideally genetics, epigenetics, or computational biology.

The project will focus on the establishment of CRISPR-based screening approaches, and CRISPR-based engineering of genomic regions.

The London Institute for Medical Sciences is funded by the MRC, and is a Division of the Faculty of Medicine at Imperial College. Based on the Hammersmith Hospital Campus in West London (W12), the LMS provides investigators with cutting-edge facilities with which to pursue innovative, multidisciplinary research.
